Ajanta Ellora ToursDay 01: Arrival at Mumbai
After your arrival at the Mumbai airport, our representative will receive you. Form there, you will be escorted to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Mumbai - Aurangabad
After having breakfast at hotel, you will leave for a visit to the Gateway of India and the local market of Mumbai. In the evening, you will leave for Aurangabad. On your arrival at Aurangabad, you will be taken to the hotel, where you will stay for the night.

Day 03: Aurangabad Sightseeing
In the morning, you will proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of the Ajanta Caves. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ajanta Caves are approximately thirty in number. The caves consist of chaitya halls (shrines) or viharas (monasteries). Paintings, scriptures and architecture of both the Hinayana sect as well as the Mahayana sect of Buddhism adorn Ajanta caves. By late evening, you will come back to the Aurangabad hotel and retire for the night.

Day 04: Aurangabad Sightseeing
In the morning, you will again leave for a sightseeing tour of Ellora Caves, Daulatabad Fort and Aurangabad Caves. Ellora Caves also hold the distinction of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ellora Caves represent the major religions, namely Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. There are a total of 34 monasteries and temples at Ellora, belonging to the three different religions.

Aurangabad Caves reflect tantric influences in their iconography and architectural designs. The nine caves comprise of mainly Buddhist monasteries or Viharas. The night stay will be at the hotel in Aurangabad.

Day 05: Aurangabad - Mumbai
You will leave for Mumbai in morning. After arriving there, you will check into a hotel. Then, you will proceed for an excursion to the Elephanta caves. These caves are known for rock cut temples, which date back to the 5th century. The night stay will be at the hotel.

Day 06: Mumbai
After having breakfast in the morning, you will leave for a sightseeing tour of the city. You will be visiting Juhu Beach, Hanging Gardens and Prince of Wales Museum. In the late evening, you will leave for the international airport to catch a flight for onward destination.
